then a thought occurred to me that i could at least be productive in my unproductivity, so i
stared at the laundry basket for a moment & decided i'd found the cure for my guilt pangs. note to self: do not do laundry in a not-so-perky-somewhat-guilty state of mind.not really thinking, i proceeded to do what i thought was a "light" load. this included an unfortunate mix of white shirts (including mike's favorite thai "red bull" shirt) & my flowing new lavender skirt with lovely crochet around the waistline. add a scoop of detergent, some fabric softener, & about 2 hours in my trusty (though lethargic) washer... and viola! a basket full of pink cotton... valentine's day IS coming up.

I've done this before.. and other absent-minded things.. remember the dishwasher soap incident? TWICE!! yah, that's hard to top.. love you
oh yeah... wish you were here to make a bubble bath in my kitchen... wish i had a dishwasher...anyway, wish you were here ;)...
Good thing you look lovely in all shades of pink...well, you can wear any color! Do they sell bleach in Thailand? Mike wearing pastel pink can help him get better in touch with his feminine side...whatever that means! The places our guilt takes us...been there sister! Let's clothe ourselves with His grace and allow ourselves to truly rest when our bodies speak to us of weariness!! Thanks for sharing...I don't feel so alone in my own mindless foibles! love ya, mindy
thanks mindy... yes, i've always thought mike could pull off pink, but fortunately (for his tastes)they DO have bleach here, & his shirt is mostly back to normal :).
thanks for the encouragement, too... i'll try to put relaxation above laundry on my priority list from now on :)...
